The short version

dovv is a dating service. To connect you with people nearby and let you send gifts through local shops, we collect the information described below. We don’t sell your personal data.

What we collect

Account details (email or phone, date of birth for age verification), the profile you choose to share (name, photos, bio, preferences), your approximate location for discovery, and activity such as likes, matches, messages, and gifts you send or receive.

How we use it

To run the service: show you people within your area, enable matching and chat, process gift orders and payments through our merchant and payment partners, keep the community safe, and send you notifications you’ve asked for.

Location

We use your location to show nearby people and merchants. Discovery only ever shows others a coarse, approximate distance — never your exact coordinates or address.

Payments & merchants

Gift payments are processed by Stripe; local merchants fulfill the gifts. We share only what’s needed to complete an order. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profile, adjust notification preferences, and delete your account at any time from the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data.

Age

dovv is strictly for adults 18 and older. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
